Bishop and First Lady Deese

Our Mission

The mission of Praise and Worship Ministries is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Our Beliefs

We preach and teach the word of God as an endeavors to demonstrate wherever and whenever possible the principles of God’s word as stated in Galatians 3:28, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus” and also confirmed in Ephesians 4: (4-6), “That there is one body and one spirit even as ye are called in one hope of your calling one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and father of all, who is above all through all and in you all.”

Leadership Team

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Bishop Ricky Deese, Founder & Senior Pastor

Pastor Ricky Deese and First Lady Sandra Deese are the co-founders of Praise and Worship Ministries an Independent, non-denominational, faith based, Christ centered organization.

As the primary teaching pastor, Bishop Deese has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He has served at Praise and Worship Ministries for fifteen years. He and his wife (First Lady Sandra Deese) have three children.

Pastor Deese served in leadership positions at Gray Pond Baptist Church, Antioch Baptist Church and Galilee Baptist Church.
